The farm has a wide range of volunteer opportunities for all ages.

ART AND CRAFT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Kentish Town City Farm is used by a whole host of people from all different backgrounds.  It runs school holiday activities, after school clubs, and weekend activities, often with an artistic slant and are always on the look out for fresh ideas and new people to sustain their exciting programme of activities.  The farm is a challenging and inspirational place to work and very flexible in its approach.  You would be volunteering with people of all ages and we would especially welcome practical art and craft sessions to increase the "artistic experience" for our local users. COMMUNITY EVENT VOLUNTEER

The farm stages four annual events;- May Day, Apple Day, Christmas Fair and Summer Special - we are always looking for people to help out at these events both in the planning stages and on the actual day. YOUNG VOLUNTEERS


Children over the age of eight are welcome to help muck out and work on the farm.  They must arrive by 9am.
Parents please remember:-

1 Kentish Town City Farm is a free access open space, open to any member of the public 

2.Children must be accompanied by an adult if aged eight or under.

3.Parents should fill in a consent form before their children participate in activities on the farm, this is to safeguard your child and workers on the project.

4.Farm staff are not responsible for children once they have left the farm, however we will work towards providing a safe environment for your children whilst they are here.

 

 

Adult Volunteers

The Farm welcomes people of all ages and abilities to come and get involved with a whole range of jobs.

In return we offer a safe and fun environment and a great opportunity to meet new people and learn new skills.

Trainees & Work Experience

The Farm offers work experience for young people who wish to pursue a career in working with animals and offers valuable experience in preparation for leaving secondary education.

The Farm encourages placements from organisations working with children and young people with special needs.

Working in partnership with other agencies we can offer advice in employment in the animal care and horticultural industries.
